I worked for a used bookstore and the lonely books we didn't sell became subjects of a project called Blind Date with a Book.

At first they were just covered in brown paper with a review written on them to keep them a mystery, but I illustrated them to give the reader a visual clue as well.

They became really popular, and they're good examples of my illustration and lettering capabilities.
